Equipment Description
This is a pre-coating filtration system that coats filter media.
The filter media is placed in a mixing tank, mixed, and then a pump is used to coat the filter elements.
As the dirty liquid passes through the filter elements, particulates are removed and the clean liquid is released.
Over time, the filter elements become contaminated and pressure increases.
When the pressure sensor detects pressure, filtration is halted, the contaminated filter elements are removed through a bumping process, and the liquid is transferred to a deoiler using compressed air.
The deoiler pressurizes the contaminated liquid with compressed air to deoil it.
The oil discharged during this process is recovered through a pipe, and the sludge is dried.
When the deoiling process is complete, the operator removes the empty pot and disposes of the waste.
